Our pathology laboratory has been providing quality services for diagnosing and monitoring individuals with infectious diseases. Established in 2006, we specialize in HIV testing and monitoring, and screening for other related infections. We use modern equipment and experienced lab staff to deliver prompt, accurate, and reliable diagnostic services.
Our Comprehensive Range of Lab Services:
Haematology
Our advanced lab offers a range of diagnostic services, including haematology. We use flow cytometry for determining CD4 and CD8 counts.
Biochemistry:
Automated biochemistry analyser is used for monitoring hepatic, renal function and metabolic parameters like lipids, sugar that crucial for diagnosing and managing medical co-morbidites.
Point-of-care tests:
Rapid tests are used for screening of various infectious diseases like HIV, syphilis, HBV, HCV, and cryptococcal antigen.
Molecular Biology:
Quantitative Estimation of Viral Load:
Our advanced molecular testing methods enables to precisely quantify the amount of virus.
CD4/CD8 T-Cell Count:
Our lab utilizes the latest flow cytometry techniques to provide accurate and timely CD4 and CD8 T-cell count results.
Quality Assurance:
To continually uphold the highest standards, we actively participate in the IQAS (Internal Quality Assurance System) and EQAS (External Quality Assurance System) programs conducted by National AIDS Research Institute and Biorad USA.
Meet Our Experienced Team:
Mr. Digamber Dabhade, with 50 years in Laboratory Medicine, started his career at the Central Clinical Laboratoy of Sassoon General Hospitals and B.J.Medical College. He expanded his expertise, worked in Biochemistry and Dialysis, innovated at Sassoon General Hospital’s Blood Bank, co-founded labs in 1983, and established a Pathology Lab at the Institute of Infectious Diseases. In addition, he has completed his Post graduate diploma in clinical research and has been a co-investigator in multiple research studies.
Dr. Pooja Kasat, Pathologist from Government Medical College, Aurangabad. She has 13 years of experience as Pathologist.
She holds ISO 15189-2022 certification, and has worked as Consultant Pathologist at Noble Hospital, Hadapsar, Pulse Diagnostics, Inamdar Multispecialty Hospital. She currently serves as a Consultant Pathologist at Balaji Path Lab, Hadapsar, Institute of Infectious Diseases (IID) and Dr. Geetanjali’s Healthcare Center Private Limited.
Technical Team:
Our skilled technical team, includes Mr.Chetan Parale, Mr. Ganesh Potdar, and Mr.Tushar Kshirsagar. They implement GLP guidelines for sample collection and processing and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
